Prince Charming
Prince Charming - DOB 21/08/2021
Prince Charming is our young colt that is actively competing in led show horse classes.
We are utilising the Kula_Lunge Training System to get Prince working obediently on the ground whilst carrying himself correctly to help build his top-line muscles.
Prince is not yet ready to be broken in so we are preparing him carefully from the ground for when that time comes.
Right now he is aiming for his next big show which will be 2023 Ekka.
Breaking In KPH Mouse
KPH Mouse is our 6. year old Warmblood gelding that I am finally getting around to breaking in.
Mouse has had basic handling prior to being broken in including regularly getting his hooves trimmed and being floated on a limited basis which he has always taken in his stride since his first flaating experience of following his Mum onto the float so she could go and be inseminated.
So far Mouse is taking all our work in stride and is progressing nicely on the long reins with the Kula Lunge. As you can see from our first session I set the Kula Lunge up firstly without the side reins attached then I attached the side reins quite loosely. As our sessions progressed I tightened the side reins to a length where he is now working in a consistent contact.
