Lunging Tip - Maintain a "Triangle" Lunging Position

To maintain a correct lunging position imagine a triangle with you at the top point of the triangle in line with the horses shoulder and the horse at the bottom point of the triangle.

Your lunge line attached to the bit forms one side of the triangle.

 Your whip points to just behind the hindquarters to form the other side of the triangle.
